MOHIT RAMPAL

Founder & CEO
(RamoGnee Technologies)

Topic: Cyber Security The technology industry is wreaking with the competition. Given the magnitude of the impact of the pandemic and market opportunities, cognitive computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and enterprise mobility, they have the potential to change radically. This disruption can be slow and steady, incremental in the way that everything you thought you knew has changed, as explored by Mohit Rampal, Founder, and CEO of Ramognee Technologies, in the Keynote Address on “Disrupting Application Architecture”

When asked- Ransomware has assumed a proportion of pandemics and how the covid pandemic have escalated the use of Ransomware attacks? Bob Adhar, CEO and Founder of Randtronics, participated in the Plenary Session responded that there is a perfect storm leading to an increase in Ransomware attacks which will keep on persisting. One reason is a temporary shift of criminals from drugs to cybercrimes. Another reason he briefly touched on was a shift in geopolitical politics, happening rapidly. Here we are talking about the U.S, China, India, Australia, UK, & Europe. There is a substantial shift in politics adding to the environment.

VAISHNO CHAITANYA

Security Researcher & Consultant
(RamoGnee Technologies)

“Prioritize security” Vaishno Chaitanya, Security Researcher & Consultant in Ramognee Technologies, stressed in the track session about App Modernization. Along with the notion of API security not being an afterthought or considered “someone else’s problem.” Organizations have a lot to lose with unsecured APIs, so it’s important to make API security a priority and build it into the API’s as they are developing. Since APIs are essentially a developer’s tool, they often contain keys, passwords, and other information that should be removed before they’re made publicly available. But sometimes, this step is overlooked. Organizations should incorporate scanning tools into their DevSecOps processes to limit the accidental exposure of secret information.
