Position: Technical – Database Architect

Location- New Delhi Region- Position Code- DA

Job Purpose: A master of databases, especially MySQL with a firm hands-on experience to create new database structures, optimizing the existing databases, assisting in creating new models, database indexing query optimization, database load balancing and database duplication and working knowledge to work on Django ORM and designing of Mutli-Tenancy architecture

Basic- Would be an Individual Contributor and would work with the product and development team. The profile requires the person to be based in the NCR Delhi region and able to join in 10-15 days.

Job Duties

• Design relational databases to support business enterprise applications and physical data modeling according to project requirements for data acquisition and security as well as customer-defined deliverables
• Manage end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel
• Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
• Create and test physical data models for a variety of business data, applications, database structures, and metadata tables to meet operational goals for performance and efficiency
• Conduct a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders.
• Support database administrators, network designers, and IT personnel to create effective and secure methods for data backup and recovery
• Confirm architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications by developing analytical models and completing validation tests.
• Work on database modelling, query optimization & database indexing
• Review existing data architectures to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with original objectives, develop comprehensive strategies for improving or replacing underperforming areas, and present these plans to managers and executives
• Help with performance tuning and help with database development of performance-critical code
• Research new technologies, data modeling methods, and information management systems to determine which ones should be incorporated into company data architectures, and develop implementation timelines and milestones

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data architecture, information management, or similar field
• At least three years of data architecture experience
• Proficient with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB(added advantage), Hadoop(added advantage), and other database modeling and management tools
• Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills
• Experience with software network design and implementation
• Certified Data Architect
• Hands in working on MySQL/PostgreSQL(must have) and other relational databases
